The 2024 authors will be invited to create a personalized souvenir courtesy of the Innovation Lab and there will be a limited Open Mic* event for authors who would like to share a brief passage from their book.

Music will be provided by piano bar and cabaret-style musicians Ria and Aaron, and you can sample light food-flare from our community partners, the United Women of East Africa

*Hosted by author/poet and executive editor of the San Diego Poetry Annual, Michael Klam. Registered 2024 authors will have the option to fill out an opportunity ticket to participate in a 2-3 minute reading from their submitted book. Authors are responsible for bringing their selection.
