The Friends of the San Diego Public Library will be hosting its next book sale at the University Heights Branch Library at 4193 Park Blvd (at Howard Ave), San Diego 92103. Enter at the Sprouts parking lot entrance.
Ikebana: The Japanese Art of Flower Arranging
Make a beautiful flower arrangement to take home!
Classes are taught by master artist Jackie Zhang of the Ohara School of Ikebana.
Dance Pants Bash!
Bring the littles and come for a fun dance party and maybe a storytime! We will dance to fun songs, use egg shakers, and dance with bubbles!

Join the knitting and crochet circle. Improve your skills in these traditional art forms. Bring your project for social crafting!
Join us for Mandarin Chinese stories and songs with Ms. Canndy at the Community Room in the Mira Mesa Library. All ages are welcome! Th storytime will be on the 3rd Saturday of the month (subject to change).
Stay and Play
Come join us for Stay and Play! Parents and caregivers with young children can come and meet their neighbors! Age-appropriate toys and games will be provided for the little ones to play with.

Too many zucchinis? Lots of cut flowers? Succulents getting too big? Fruits and Veggies galore? Ordered too many radish seeds?
These Storytimes, good for kids ages 4 to 6, are fun, kinetic, and humorous experiences! I make it a point not just to read books, but to perform them as well!
Saturday Story Time in the Park
Saturday is Story Time in Kensington Park. Bring a blanket to sit on and get ready for stories, music, and bubbles! Recommended for ages 1-5. Older siblings are welcome to join in on the fun!
Join us every Saturday from 10am-noon for Lego and Rokenbok Club! Patrons will be able to build at their own pace.
We will provide a lego square to build on and patrons can continue to build on it week after week.
Step into the shoes of a Pro Basketball player--with a STEAM twist! In this high-energy workshop, participants will explore the science behind the sport by investigating energy, force, and motion.
Enjoy some sign language fun for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers with Ms. Jennifer from Signs at Play!

Paws & Tales Reading Program
Practice your reading skills with a fluffy friend! Participants learn how to be safe around animals as they improve their reading skills.
Board Game Café
Come enjoy an afternoon of board games and fun as you enjoy freshly brewed coffee or tea from a local business!
Lego Free Play
Join us for some fun in the kitchen! Participants will learn and practice their cooking skills while making simple and fun kid-friendly recipes.
This is an in-person program. Registration is encouraged.
Persian Music Concert in the Park
Join us at the Kensington-Normal Heights Library for a Free Persian Music Concert in the park. The music will be jazz inspired with a Persian flair. There will be a mix of Eastern and Western Instruments.
